A family foraging workshop within the Stoke Park Estate learning, identifying & foraging the wild foods within the park.

Join Steve England at his home in Stoke Park for a beginners family foraging adventure in the beautiful Stoke Park Estate, where children can learn the basics of wild food foraging, and together with their parents, discover the array of foods from the grasslands and hedgerows around the park.

Steve will share his fascinating knowledge on all things wild food – you will be on the lookout for a range of edible species including wild onions, garlic and sorrel, and collect a tasty wild salad to enjoy together, identify the lookalikes and the ones NOT to get wrong, sample some extra tasty treats and learn the importance of conservation for your future family adventures!

S teve England has been teaching wild foods in Stoke Park for over 15 years and brings this new family based event by popular demand. Adult based courses are aimed at 16 years and over – take a look at other events to see what’s available!

S uitable for ages 6+ – All children must be accompanied by an adult.

C ourse lasts for 2 – 2.5 hours. We ask a maximum of 2 children per adult due to the dangers associated with foraging.

T his fun and informative course is a rare chance for both children and their parents alike to discover wild food foraging. We will be meeting at the Vench Adventure Playground, Romney Avenue, Bristol to head into Stoke Park.
