Hands-on workshops at Horfield Organic Community Orchard.

Discover the art and skill of slow pruning by working with mature trees at HOCO over a growing season. A head for heights is helpful.

Dates & times:

  • Planning workshop: Saturday 22 February – 2pm – 4.30pm
  • Dormant season pruning workshop: Saturday 8 March – 1.30pm – 4.30pm
  • Mid-summer assessment, planning & pruning workshop: Saturday 28 June (time tbc)
  • Late summer assessment, planning & pruning workshop: Saturday 27 September (time tbc)Fees: HOCO members*: £20 for one workshop; £70 for all 4 workshops booked together

Full fee: £35 each workshop.

*New HOCO member or new to pruning? Get in touch to chat about taking part in a foundation course.
