Indulge your senses at the Old Down Estate Food Festival, where our Manor transforms into a culinary haven featuring a selection of food and drink stands. Immerse yourself in a journey that celebrates both global flavors and locally sourced produce.
With guest appearances from Tommy Thorn, the 2023 ‘MasterChef: The Professionals’ finalist and owner of Puro restaurant in Clevedon, Carl Cleghorn, He’s the owner of the pop-up restaurant ‘Tyme’ and previously served as head chef in multiple Michelin-starred kitchens across the South West, and Michelin star Chef Hywel Jones. They will be doing demonstrations on the day, offering you a chance to watch, learn, and get some culinary inspiration of your own.
As you wander through the festival, you’ll encounter a diverse array of stalls offering an enticing variety of cuisines from around the world. From savory to sweet, spicy to mild, the festival promises a feast for every palate. Our stallholders have been carefully handpicked to ensure a delightful blend of choice and quality, bringing you the finest culinary experiences. Enjoy treats from a local bakery, flavorful tacos, exquisite wines, and Sri Lankan Street food. Discover unique home goods, rich brownies, expertly crafted gin, local honey, and baked delights from another talented baker. Savor grazing platters, explore quality kitchen knives, global food products, and mead. With live music, cooking demonstrations, a family fun zone, and an artisan market, there’s something for everyone.
In addition to the diverse food offerings, don’t miss out on the opportunity to sample* an array of refreshing beverages, from artisanal drinks to fine wines, carefully selected to complement the array of dishes available. *Food is available to purchase and stall holders will be offering samples at their own discretion.
Please note: Country Park admission is not included in ticket price. If you want to visit our Country Park once you’ve explored our festival, general Country Park entry will be required and wristbands will be allocated on the day.
