Local food economy
Strong local food economies are closely connected with thriving, resilient cities, and building rich and diverse food communities across the city.

What’s it about?
By making sure that people all over the city have the means to access food produced and supplied locally, and by choosing local when we can, we can rebuild our high streets and neighbourhoods, create jobs, and keep money circulating in the local economy. Shorter supply chains are fairer for producers and more transparent for consumers.
