Bristol has thousands of food stories to tell. In the hospitality sector, there are restaurants, bars, producers and retailers who are shaking up the status quo and driving progressive (and delicious) change.

GOOD: Stories in Food is a new venture that aims to tell these stories in the most engaging and enjoyable ways. And what more enjoyable way than through taste?

GOOD has just launched our first food and drink tours! From producers, to restaurants, to retailers and all in between, we focus on local independents creating the most delicious flavours in an ethical way. Each of them has a story to tell and our tours give you an exclusive opportunity to hear these stories from the businesses themselves, while you eat and drink some of the best produce the city and its surroundings have to offer. Plus, your guide on the tours will be me, Florence! I am a food and communications expert, having worked on a food system change in Bristol, other cities in the UK and nationally, on policy, education, community and engagement, including leading on Public Engagement in Bristol’s successful bid to become a Gold Sustainable Food Place

GOOD currently offer two tours:

Bristol Hotspots & Hidden Treasures
Eat and drink your way through the heart of Bristol, discovering some of Bristol’s best independents. From burgers to gin, pie to wine, discover some of the city centre’s best-known independents and best-kept secrets. Starting at the top of Park Street, we will wind our way down through the centre, ending up the Harbourside, eating and drinking our way through some of Bristol’s most inspiring and delicious stories.

Wine and Cheese Tasting in the Cheddar Valley
Escape into the beautiful Somerset countryside for a day of wine and cheese tasting. Enjoy the stunning settings of the Somerset countryside while you meet two independent viticulturists and taste their fantastic wine. You’ll also visit Cheddar, where you’ll have a tour of a cheese producer, a cheese tasting and a chance to explore this charming village. Plus a stop for lunch in this beautiful part of the world.

We believe in the power of a GOOD story. We believe in celebrating the innovators, the renegades, the changemakers. We believe we can only truly achieve fair and sustainable food systems if we inspire, excite and educate. Come and join us on a tour and share in these delicious stories.

*We will very shortly be recruiting a Marketing Manager and Administrative Assistant (a combined role). If the work of GOOD aligns with your ethos and you believe you have the relevant skills, please get in touch with me at florence@goodstoriesinfood.com

Please see www.goodstoriesinfood.com/fooddrinktours for more information and to book. Book any tour before 1st April and enjoy 20% OFF AS A LAUNCH OFFER!
