Annual free workshop led by Mike Feingold and friends, taking place amongst the fruit trees of the community orchard.

Advance booking required as space limited; priority will go to people involved in community food growing projects – please see Facebook Event details of how to book.

You will learn about the tools to use, what & when to prune, and how/where to prune.
Followed by several hours spent actively pruning the right trees…whilst guided by the Mike & other experienced pruners.

You need to bring: your own sharp secateurs, plus a pruning saw & loppers (if you have them); appropriate clothing & footwear for winter weather, plus hat & gloves; veggie/vegan snacks for a shared lunchbreak.

Please arrive at 10.45am for a prompt 11am start.

Over 16yrs only only event; the event takes place on slopping & slippery ground and is not wheelchair accessible.
