Royate Hill Community Orchard
Address:

Annual Fruit Tree Grafting workshop, with Mike Feingold and friends.
The workshop is FREE, but there’s a charge of about £2 for each rootstock fruit tree graft you make to take away with you.
Booking is required due to limited space available – please see the Facebook Event details for how to book your place.
You will learn: about the tools to use, and the theory – why, how and what you can graft.
Followed by plenty of grafting practice (mainly apple trees, also plum, cherry & pear) – using our rootstock & tree cuttings, guided by Mike & other experienced grafters!
Please bring: a sharp knife, and sharp secateurs; appropriate clothing & footwear for winter weather, plus hat and gloves; veggie/vegan snacks for a shared lunch.
Please arrive at 10.45am for a prompt 11am start.
Over 16yrs only; the event takes place on slopping uneven and slippery ground, so is not wheelchair accesible.
