Urban Growing
St Werburghs Community Centre Volunteer Gardening Day
St Werburghs Community Centre
Address:
St Werburghs Community Centre, Horley Rd, St Werburghs, BS2 9TJ
Join St Werburghs Community Centre on the 15th April 11am to 1:30pm for a community gardening session!
Help out your local community centre and learn how to create a mini pond for your own garden. We will be prepping and planting up some barrel ponds to bring more wildlife to the Community Centre’s urban garden.
Spring is the perfect time to create a wildlife pond. Adding water to your garden is a great way to bring in more wildlife, even in an urban setting. Water will attract pollinators as well as predators, like birds and frogs, to tackle those slugs!

To sign up for the session please email: office@stwerburghs.org.uk
If you like gardening, you can also join our regular gardening club at the St Werburghs Community Centre every Wednesday from 10:30 – 1:30. We work together to look after the urban garden surrounding the Centre, growing vegetables, fruit and flowers. At the end of each session we share a light vegetarian lunch. Optional donation of £2.
If you're hosting a good food event in Bristol, share the details here to spread the word far and wide.
