Come connect with others on the land at the edge of the city

Learn new skills, make new connections, and get fit!
Bridge Farm’s volunteer workdays are a great way for us all to come together and support the land and animals.
Whether you are an experienced grower, animal lover, novice or complete beginner then you are more than welcome.
We start the day with a quick catch-up of the jobs to achieve in the day, a safety briefing and then go to where the land needs us the most.
Each workday brings with it a different set of jobs, depending on the season and what we have going on. Sometimes clearing & digging for the chickens or pigs, sometimes its weeding & growing
So, do come along. Socialise with us, whilst digging the land and breaking bread with us:

Timings for the day:
– 11:00 Site Briefing: We aim to start on time so the day’s coordinators (those in hi-vis) can get you signed in and with a site safety briefing. We’ll allocate jobs and teams for the day
– 1300-13:45: (approx) There’ll be some warm soup from the canteen to thank you for all your hard graft! We don’t charge for this, but if you’d like to donate a couple of quid to cover costs we’d be most grateful.
– 14:00-16:00 A chance to change jobs with others and get back out to finish off the task list of the day.

No experience is necessary and we welcome complete beginners and experienced folk alike. (Though please only use tools & perform jobs you’ve been trained up on.)

Please bring strong shoes and gloves if you have them, along with any other PPE that may be handy.
Look forward to meeting you soon!
