Come get fit, learn new skills and meet new faces 🌾👨‍🌾
Bridge Farm’s volunteer workdays are a great way for the community to come together and support the land and animals. Whether you are an experienced grower, animal lover, novice or complete beginner then you are more than welcome.
Bridge Farm start the day with a quick catch-up of the jobs to achieve in the day, a safety briefing and then go to where the land needs us the most. Sometimes it’s clearing some space for the chickens or pigs to do their stuff, sometimes its weeding & growing work, and sometimes it’s building & site maintenance. And often its a bit of everything.
As we move from, winter into spring it’s a time to look ahead and prep the land for a busy springtime. So, please do come along. Socialise whilst digging the land and breaking bread.
⏲ Timings for the day:
– 11:00 Site Briefing: We aim to start on time so the day’s coordinators can get you signed in and with a site safety briefing. We’ll allocate jobs and teams for the day.
1300-13:45: (approx) There’ll be some warm soup from the canteen to thank you for all your hard graft! Bridge Farm don’t charge for this, but if you’d like to donate a couple of quid to cover costs they would be most grateful.
14:00-16:00 A chance to change job with others and get back out to finish off the task list of the day.
