More Info

Come on down to the farm on Sunday 9th March for our next volunteer day!! There will also be a Mexican street food festival with chef Wizzy Chung where you can get yourself a tasty, discounted lunch to reward your hard work.

With the first signs of Spring appearing, our growers and land users have been busy planning for the brighter days ahead. There is lots to do, and so we hope to see many of you there!

For this session, our team has a few things on the agenda… We will be clearing conifer tree waste from the path, sowing seeds and preparing the beds, weeding around trees, clearing paths and sowing green manures in the Food Forest Garden. We also aim to move the pigs to a different spot on the farm, which will involve cutting back brambles, moving the fence and the pigs themselves, fixing up their old shelter into a new, spring abode…

When you arrive, please see Nils, Sarah or Ana who will greet you and get you settled in! They will guide you into tasks based on capacity and skill. You will usually work on the tasks from 11am-4pm, with an hour break in between or more if you need. It’s a warm and welcoming environment, and we are always looking for growers who want to join regularly and grow with us!
