Join Feeding Bristol for the official launch of the Bristol Food Education Charter – a Participatory Research Project conducted by Bristol University and Feeding Bristol’s The Children’s Kitchen, collaborating with children and young people from across the city.
This innovative Charter reflects the voices of Bristol’s children and young people, highlighting their perspectives on food education, issues they care about, and preferred learning methods. The project involved extensive engagement across various settings in the city, where hundreds of young participants shared their views on food and learning about food through discussions, writings, drawings, and recordings.
Children are welcome to come and join in with the food workshop and play, but must be accompanied by an adult if under eight years old. The event aims to foster collaboration among schools, community groups, and youth organisations to enhance food education and promote communal eating experiences.
Be part of this inspiring initiative that aims to empower young voices and promote healthier, more connected communities through food education. Your participation will help shape future opportunities for children and young people to learn about food and nutrition in engaging and meaningful ways.
If you're hosting a good food event in Bristol, share the details here to spread the word far and wide.
