Tim Foster, local author and lecturer on organic horticulture, will walk us through five ways to look at composting.

Well-known to a lot of Avon Organic Group members, Tim Foster is a popular and knowledgeable speaker, writer, teacher and allotmenteer, unselfish in sharing his know-how from years of practical organic horticulture. He is author of “Good Earth Gardening, a friendly guide to growing vegetables organically” and “Fruits for Life”, two books that tell you much about his sense of humour, love of growing and inspiring others.

This month Tim will share with us his insights, techniques and advice on composting. This is a subject central to organic growing and an inexhaustible source of discussion and questions for a lot of us. With his very practical, friendly approach and his solid experience, Tim is sure to inspire both beginner and experienced gardeners!

Doors open 6.30pm for informal mingle prior to the start of the talk at 7pm start and the event finishes at 8.30pm. This event will be live streamed from The Station so that you have the option either to attend in person or to access the event online via zoom. £2-5.
