This talk will cover the whys and the hows of gardening by the moon’s phases, including the full/new moon cycle, the ascending/descending moon cycle, perigee/apogee cycle, and the moon/constellation cycle. Robin will explain the terminology and what to do when.

Robin is an experienced biodynamic gardener and viticulturist and his talk will also introduce us to the wider perspective of the biodynamic gardening calendar regarding the rhythms of the solar cycle and its influence on plants and soil, as well as the gardener.

Robin lectures and holds regular workshops on biodynamic growing and viticulture. He manages Limeburn Hill Vineyard, Chew Magna, following biodynamic principles.
