Food education in Bristol is advancing steadily. Bristol City Council is collaborating with schools to redesign the Healthy Schools Food Specialist Award, ensuring it meets current needs. Feeding Bristol has secured funding to develop a Children’s Food Charter, starting with an event at Felix Road Playground, attended by 100 children. Feeding Bristol is also awaiting funding for the Food Leader’s Programme, which aims to support in-person activities and community engagement over the next three years.
