Hotspots & Hidden Treasures Tour
GOOD: Stories in Food
Eat and drink your way through the heart of Bristol, discovering some of Bristol’s best independents with GOOD: Stories in Food.
“We’ll be stopping at some well-known Bristol legends and seeking out some of the city’s hidden treasures. At each stop, you’ll have the chance to sample some delicious hearty food (think burgers, soup, doughnuts and more) or taste some delectable drinks (there’ll be wine, juice, gin and more). Some stops will be a passing nibble and others we’ll sit and enjoy an exclusive tasting.
“Each of our stops is a business with a story to tell. We select the Bristol independents that are doing things right – with sustainable and ethical approaches to their dishes and drinks. You’ll hear about how they do things and why. We’ll make 8-10 stops and you’ll leave satiated and satisfied! Along the way, your host will also point out some great spots to visit, for food, music and culture, point out sites of interest in the city and share some knowledge about the city’s fascinating history. The day will be hosted by Florence, a food and sustainability expert, who has worked in the sector for over a decade, in education, research, policy and more. Florence’s extensive knowledge across food and farming adds a richness of learning and interesting insights throughout the day. She is also a long-term Bristol resident, with plenty of tips and recommendations for your time in this beautiful part of the world.”
Meeting point: corner of Berkley Av & Park St. From £52.
