Are you 15-24, not in education or full time work, and interested in gaining skills and experience that will help you find work and opportunities in the green sector?

Heart of BS13 are running green skills training sessions this autumn – a combination of volunteering, work experience, learning and inspiring trips – come and join us!

These sessions will be led by our charity’s team and supported by our wonderful community Nature Connectors Lexi and Orin.

What the sessions will involve:
– Learning about composting, flower farming and what it means to be a volunteer – at Hartcliffe City Farm
– Learning about hosting events, green jobs and BS13’s community climate action plan – at the Roundhouse
– Trips to places and spaces working to bring people together, teach green skills and improve the environment

When:
14 Oct – 12-3pm at Hartcliffe City Farm
15 Oct – 12-3pm at Heart of Bs13’s Roundhouse
16 Oct – 10am-3pm – Offsite trip (meet at the Roundhouse)
21 Oct – 12-3pm at Hartcliffe City Farm
22 Oct – 12-3pm at Heart of Bs13’s Roundhouse
23 Oct – 12-5pm – Off site trip (meet at the Roundhouse)
Who this programme is for: 

This programme is open to BS13 residents who are aged 15-24 and not in school, college or full time work. If you are interested in attending but do not live in the BS13 area please contact Kirsty.Tait@heartofbs13org.uk.
