We are back in the kitchen for another barn-full community long table at Bridge Farm.
We will be serving up locally-grown goodness that is plant-based, gluten-free and pay-what-you-can. Please fill out the form if you plan to come so we can make sure there’s enough for everyone, cater to food needs and minimise food waste.
As people who work on the land and within the food system, we dream of more reciprocal, just ways of relating to the food the land provides. because of this, we will always buy produce from local growers and organic national wholesalers for the staples, supplemented with produce gleaned from local farms. we believe nourishing food grown without the use of industrial chemicals should be accessible to everyone, which is why we will always offer our meals on a pay-what-can basis – everyone should have access to food that is grown gently on the land (:
Pay-what-you-can means you can always eat without any expectation to pay. we also want to invite those with financial privilege to reflect on this and pay accordingly. we will have a sliding scale on the day – showing how much the meal costs to run for those who can and wish to pay from covering the costs of the ingredients to paying the chefs a living wage. any and all profits we make will always be donated to the wonderfull Bridge Farm!
