Urban growing
Taking action for Urban Growing means making sure that as much land as possible in and near the city is used to grow food in a way that’s good for nature.

What’s it about?
The more space we can find for food growing in Bristol, the more benefits there are for all our communities, for wildlife, healthy soils and a way to capture some of the carbon produced in the city. Urban Growing is good for people, too, creating more good food jobs and more beautiful spaces to connect with people and our environment.
