Bristol’s only community-grown real ale, Easton Promise, will be available across the city at select pubs from 21 October. Over 100 passionate real ale fans from East Bristol Hops Association, who for the last six years have been growing hops at their allotments, back gardens and community settings and taking them to local brewery Dawkins Ales, will use them to make a unique green hopped real ale. Everyone is welcome to attend the official launch party for this year’s ale at Dawkins Brewery, Lawnwood Road, especially prospective new members.
