Join Feeding Bristol for a stimulating discussion and mouth-watering meal at an evening exploring the importance of Afro-Caribbean food culture in shaping Bristol’s food landscape.

A panel of chefs, activists and community icons will discuss the role food plays in St Pauls Carnival and how celebrations of culture & identity are essential to resisting injustice and oppression. Jerk King will be serving up their phenomenal Caribbean jerk, feeding you a sizzling summer dinner to perk up your Tuesday evening. The event will be generously hosted by the iconic Stokes Croft venue, The Pipe & Slippers. Tickets are likely to sell out – book yours quick!

This event is a fundraiser, with all proceeds contributing to St Pauls Carnival’s Elders Brunch. Tickets include the panel discussion, meal and a donation.

Food Justice Fortnight returns with the theme of Food and Power – inviting guests and participants to think about the food powers our communities can harness collectively to make Bristol a city of Food Justice. As one of the city’s most open and accessible food events and biggest celebration of food culture and heritage in the city, this year Feeding Bristol are supporting St Pauls Carnival.
