In celebration of Black History Month, the AFN Network+ is hosting a virtual event exploring the intersection of food justice, climate resilience, and cultural sustainability. The event will highlight the importance of seed saving and self-sufficiency, contrasting these practices with the current commercial models in the UK.
Guest speakers will be Carol Adams, founder of Food Adventure Social Enterprise Ltd, Cardiff Farmers Markets and Back to Our Roots: Growing and Sharing Without Borders, and Tenesia Pascal, founder of Earth to Earth Organics and Earth Farm Limited. Both bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, promising a stimulating discussion around these vital topics.
This event will take place online, on Friday the 18th of October from 12pm to 1pm. Places are very limited, so please register as soon as possible.
