Join us at the Generation Soil market garden and get your hands in the soil. We turn Bristol's food waste into living compost, and our two-acre food forest market garden is where it all comes together.
Volunteers help with composting, planting, mulching, weeding, pond digging, and tending the garden, while learning about soil health, bokashi fermentation, and urban growing along the way.
No experience needed, just a willingness to muck in. Whether you want to learn how to grow, understand where your food waste goes, or simply spend time outdoors with good people, you're welcome.
Sessions run 11am to 3pm on alternating Saturdays and Sundays at the market garden (BS8 3QB), with teas and coffees on the go. Come for an hour or stay all day, everyone welcome. Open to all, members and non-members alike.
Upcoming dates and our volunteer WhatsApp group for the latest updates are on our website.
