2025 Progress Report

Of 32 actions in the Eating Better Action Plan: 

  • 8 have been successfully completed  
  • 20 are currently in progress  
  • 4 have not yet started 

The strongest progress in 2025 has been in food education for children and young people. CRuNCH delivered cooking programmes across 10 schools, reaching around 400 young people, while the Children’s Kitchen launched the Food Education Charter – a significant milestone for food education across the city. This work has been driven by Bristol’s Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector alongside Bristol City Council and other partners, demonstrating the breadth of energy and collaboration across this theme.
