April update

The Infrastructure Working Group and the Procurement Working Group met in February and went over their Action Plan actions. The Procurement Working Group discussed several issues: these include meat reduction at the University of Bristol’s catering offering and a sustainability campaign run by the university, plus Bristol City Council developing St Nicholas Market to include more fresh produce sellers filling unused stalls.

The One City’s ‘how to’ guide to creating a sustainable procurement policy is finished and published, ready for use – read it here.

The Bristol Good Food 2030 Framework is almost ready – feedback is coming in and updates are being made. The Framework is on track to be published in May with a public launch in June.
