Climate Café
Force of Nature
Address:
Patagonia Bristol, 81 Park Street, BS1 5PF
A safe space to talk openly about the climate crisis, how it makes us feel and how we can turn those feelings into action.
The climate and ecological crisis is the greatest threat facing our planet today. In response, we are seeing a rise in anxiety, fear and overwhelm. We need more spaces where we can come together to navigate these emotions and reflect on how we can channel them into action.
That is why Force of Nature is running a climate café. It is an opportunity to meet people in Bristol who care about tackling the climate crisis, hear about their experiences and talk openly about how it makes us feel.
Guest speakers will share their own experiences of being involved in the environmental space, the ups and downs and how they practice self-care. There will also be a workshop inviting you to write a Letter to the Earth. Please bring paper and a pen, or any other resources to get involved.
It is free to attend and anyone over 18 is welcome. But, spaces are limited so make sure to secure your spot. Some food and drinks will be provided (including vegan and gluten-free options).
The climate café is part of a series of cafés supported by Force of Nature. It is one of over 100 that have taken place in more than 40 countries worldwide. If you want to see a climate café in your local area, consider hosting your own using their free climate café guide.
We encourage you to share this event with your communities and friends.
IMPORTANT ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: unfortunately, there is no step-free access to the event space in Patagonia Bristol due to it being a historic building.
