The Green Mingle is the Partnership’s monthly networking event. It offers individuals and organisations the opportunity to meet in an informal setting, make connections, share ideas, and learn about innovative projects and initiatives in Bristol.
This month, we’ll be hearing from the West of England Combined Authority and Business West about the work being done to raise awareness of green skills and jobs, the Good Employment Charter and green skills business support opportunities, and insights from the latest Local Skills Improvement Plan report on clean energy in the region.
The event is free to attend, but please reserve a space. The July Green Mingle is taking place at The Station (The Engine Room) on Silver Street. Free vegan nibbles will be provided.

More information: The Good Employment Charter is a FREE tool designed to support organisations boost productivity and achieve higher growth. It is a voluntary membership and accreditation scheme aimed to create an active network of employers within the West of England that are committed to supporting the basis of ‘good work’. The Charter promotes seven key characteristics of good employment including security, flexibility, wellbeing and development. By making a pledge to meet these standards, participating organisations can become an ‘employer of choice’, and unlock the benefits which come with them including training and exclusive networking opportunities.

The front of the venue has paved access and on-street parking directly outside of the main entrance (unrestricted with a blue badge).

This is a standing networking event, but there are some chairs available if needed.

What we can offer on request
A BSL interpreter can be provided but we do require at least two weeks’ notice, and this may be dependent on availability.
We have a small number of noise cancelling headphones that you can request in advance.
What we cannot offer
Street parking is limited and there is no venue car park. The nearest parking is NCP Bristol, Rupert Street, BS1 2PY
A quiet space — unfortunately this venue does not offer this, however nearby spaces include The Lanes and The Hatter House Cafe.
We cannot provide captions for speakers.
The ability to meet all dietary requirements — however vegan and gluten free options are offered as standard, and allergens are listed. We can’t guarantee there is no-contamination.
