Generation Soil runs hands-on workshops on composting, bokashi fermentation, soil health, and the food-waste-to-soil loop for schools, community groups, allotment associations, businesses, and events across Bristol.
Sessions can be tailored to your group, from a playful introduction for children to a practical deep-dive for growers and organisations wanting to set up their own composting systems. We bring our compost tumbler, worm farm, soil samples, bokashi buckets, and various natural soil-enhancing ingredients (biochar, mycorrhizal fungi, seaweed). We can also bring our live soil sounds listening kit (contact microphones picking up the activity inside living soil, played through 25 wireless headphones), a striking group experience that works well for festivals and events.
We bring the kit, the worms, and the knowledge. You bring the curiosity.
